Development of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 began after the success of The Amazing Spider-Man. DeHaan, Giamatti, Jones, and Cooper were cast between December 2012 and February 2013. Filming took place in New York from February to June 2013. The film was released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on May 2, 2014 in the United States.
I saw the amazing spider man 2 in 3D with my dad tonight and it was amazing! 5 stars max! Man, when you see this movie, you better have tissues with you because you are gonna cry alot! I cried 4 times. It is insane! And I cried during last 10, 15 or 20 minutes. Reason, well, you're gonna have to see it for yourself. The movie ended almost half an hour ago and I'm still crying. But lets just say, you'll witness the most saddest death in movie history. I just wish that they saved the death for the last spider man movie (at least I hope there's gonna be a the amazing spider man 3) Totally recommended.
